Look forward to Easter! Whether in the morning at church, at Easter brunch with the in-laws or at the Easter egg hunt with the children in the garden, you want to look good. Of course, a real dandy doesn't need a reason to look good. Being alive is reason enough in itself. Nevertheless, use the opportunity for something special.
Easter is the festival of soft colors. Pastel colors, to be precise. This has to do with a number of things. Easter is a spring festival and spring is the time of soft things: temperatures, flowers and fertility, for example. The fields are getting color again and the air is shimmering with pollen. And of course the colored Easter egg dries in a matte, soft tone. In addition, spring is a very fertile season, which is why soft, fresh colors are appropriate. As an expression of virginity, so to speak. What could be better than earth tones and soft colors? But where do these pleasant, soft colors come from?
Easter colors are originally liturgical. Liturgical means "the tradition of worship" and is originally ecclesiastical. The liturgical colors change every season and reflect the mood of the different parties and seasons. The colors chosen by the Church for Easter are white, red, purple, pink and green.
The colors white, red, purple, pink and green were of course chosen for good reason. The colors symbolize spring and Easter. But how do I find the perfect suspenders for Easter? Although tradition must of course be honored, there is also something to be seen. And appearance is often more important than symbolic meaning these days.
Detailed instructions on how to wear suspenders can be found on our Wiki Page . Here you can find more information about colors, lengths and types of suspenders.
